Chris was born in 1959 in Uganda, where he lived until the age of six. He now lives and works near Melrose, Scotland.
He is an active member of the Society of Wildlife Artists and the Artists for Nature Foundation.He has served on the council of the SWLA and on the Board of Governors of the Federation of British Artists. He has won several awards for his work, including Bird Illustrator of the Year and European Bird Artist of the Year, and has exhibited widely in the UK and has had work shown in the USA, Paris, Singapore and Japan.
Chris Rose is an internationally acclaimed wildlife artist who specialises in wildlife within the landscape.
