John A Burton (tiempo parcial)

30 años de experiencia en conservación a nivel internacional, habiendo trabajado en ‘Friends of the Earth’, además de 12 años como Director General de ‘Fauna & Flora International’. Creó la primera sede de TRAFFIC para el IUCN. Escritor y locutor.

Administradora y Jefe de Publicaciones

Vivien Burton (tiempo parcial)

Jefe Administrativo de ‘Fauna & Flora International’ durante siete años. Trabajó como Ayudante de Conservación para Sir Peter Scott como Presidente de la Comisión IUCN para la Supervivencia de las Especies. Ha sido Redactora de Informes para las Reuniones SSC y diversos Congresos CITES en Nueva Delhi, Gaborone y Buenos Aires. Ha trabajado en el WLT desde su creación, particularmente en el Proyecto para Belice desde sus inicios.

Coordinadora de proyectos/Jefe de Formación

Kirsty Burgess

Licenciada en Ecología y Gestión de la Naturaleza por la Universidad de Edimburgo, entró a formar parte del equipo WLT en noviembre 2000, inicialmente como alumna en prácticas durante seis meses en Desarrollo de Proyectos. Actualmente trabaja a tiempo completo en Desarrollo de Proyectos, como ayudante de John Burton, a la vez que coordina el Programa WLT de Prácticas.

Jefe del Departamento de Financiación

Debbie Hall (tiempo parcial)

Entró a formar para del WLT a principios de 2002, y es responsable de la administración financiera. A Debbie le gusta pasar el rato en su asilvestrado jardín, observar el mundo natural y el cultivo ecológico de hortalizas y plantas perennes raras y resistentes.

Helena Åkerlund

Licenciada en Ecología con experiencia anterior en diseño de páginas web, entró a formar parte del equipo en septiembre 2003. Se encarga de la gestión del sitio web del World Land Trust y de las actividades de marketing del WLT, así como de la edición del eBoletín, el boletín electrónico mensual del WLT.

Directora de Donaciones

Anne Clifford (tiempo parcial)

Licenciada en Arqueología y Antropología, Anne entró a formar parte del Trust en septiembre 2003 y se encarga de la gestión de la base de datos de las personas e instituciones que apoyan al WLT. Cuando no se encuentra en las oficinas del WLT, Anne trabaja en una granja de cultivos orgánicos.

Diploma/Intern Co-ordinator

Harriet Jones (part time)

Looks after the Trust's interns and Diploma students and also MSc students doing their projects with the WLT. Currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of East Anglia with several years experience coordinating their Masters programme in Applied Ecology and Conservation.

Communications Assistant

Judith Woolnough (part time)

Joined the WLT team to help with the Christmas rush in 2004 but is now a more permanent fixture in the WLT reception as communications assistant. When not in the office Judith helps look after her two grandchildren, keeps her garden as wild as possible and is involved in the management of the local Millennium Green.

Finance Officer

Rosie Carter (part time)

A FCCA member who started working with WLT in Autumn 2006 after having previously spent many years as a financial director in the construction and leisure industries.

Projects Assistant

Ruth Canning

An Environmental biology graduate from University College Dublin, Ruth completed a Masters in Wildlife biology and conservation last year. She has field experience both in Ireland and abroad and is now keen to gain experience working with a conservation charity.

Carbon Projects Officer, Restoration Ecology Team

Rebecca Absalom

A geology graduate from the University of Birmingham Rebecca has experience working for both conservation organisations and environmental consultancies. She is working on the Trust's Carbon Balanced Programme and associated projects.

Lunch Inspector & Stress Relief Provider

Nutmeg (part time)

Nutmeg has been a regular staff member at the World Land Trust since 2005, residing mainly under the Programme Manager's desk, but can regularly be seen on the Carbon Manager's window sill where she keeps a close eye on the goings-on in the WLT car park. Nutmeg makes daily inspections of staff lunch bags and provides light stress relief at the end of a long working day.
