General Resource Pack for schools

Our Resource Pack for use by teachers and pupils contains information on the background and history of the World Land Trust, a copy of our most recent newsletter, fundraising ideas and a list of useful websites on rainforests. Please contact the WLT if you would like a pack.

Running in the Corridors

Key Stage 1 - 2
Running in the Corridors is a new educational fundraising resource from the World Land Trust, designed specifically for Key Stage 1 and 2. The resource consists of a printed pack and CD, supported by web pages.

Learning about Rainforests

Key Stage 1 - 2
Learning about Rainforests is a free teaching resource from World Land Trust and national shopping centre brand The Mall, as part of their environmental initiative EnviroMall. The CD contains PowerPoint presentations and activity sheets.

Focus on Forests

Pack and website

Key Stage 3
The WLT also has a Rainforest education website and printed pack called Focus on Forests. Aimed at 11-14 year olds, Focus on Forests contains case studies on rainforest issues, complete with a teachers' handbook and suggested activities.

Posters

WLT has a range of posters which were used to advertise project areas. These fun and colourful posters are available upon request to use in the decoration of school display boards or to use when fundraising.  The details on posters of competed projects have been updated with stickers. Please contact the WLT for more details.
