By supporting WLT’s Ecosystem Services projects you are making a direct contribution to the Trust’s work to protect global biodiversity while safeguarding the important environmental services provided by natural habitats. Our pricing reflects both of these issues and enables us to purchase, protect and restore critically threatened forest habitats while addressing the need preserve the integrity of the Ecosystem Services these habitats provide, such as carbon sequestration.

For companies, when the Carbon Balanced by WLT logo and/or WLT logo is used, offsetting and tree-planting are considered to be providing a service and so subject to VAT. For this reason corporate offsets/tree-planting are managed through World Land Trust Trading Ltd. WLTT Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of World Land Trust which is the only shareholder. Management of the projects is carried out entirely by WLT, in conjunction with our overseas project partners, and the sole aim is to benefit conservation, protection and restoration of the world’s wilderness areas. WLT do not trade in the offsets produced and any extra revenue generated through WLTT Ltd. is transferred to the Charity (WLT) for re-investment in conservation work.
