The World Land Trust needs a logo. How would you like to design it? As a charity we want the best, most eye-catching and memorable design. But we don't want to spend huge amounts of money by employing an expensive agency. So all budding designers, here's your chance. If you produce a winning design, there will be a prize of Natural history booksThe brief - not in order of priority.
- Needs to signify global projects connected with land forests etc
- The image should be reproduced as small as 2cm across
- The image should be simple enough to reproduce on a rubber stamp, or an enamel badge
- The image should be simple enough to be reproduced in black and white as well as in colour
- The name World Land Trust should be included
A few ideas that might help:
- Animals have popular appeal, and serious thought should be given to using an animal image. The Jaguar and leopard are among the most widespread species in the New and Old world's respectively; both could be used (but not one alone).
- Before starting, take a good look at the WLT's web pages and get an idea of its projects
- Other images that might be relevant are paw marks, leaves, water and trees
- The logo should be distinctive, and not confused with another organisation
