Patagonia Steppe Project
With much of the fantastic wildlife sites in Patagonia being bought up by speculators, the World Land Trust's 10th Anniversary Appeal is to create a huge nature reserve and small ecotourism facility there. The particular area the Trust is aiming to acquire is close to Peninsular Valdes. This travel show is supporting the project.

- BBC Natural History Unit will be talking about the making of their new series and showing some sneak previews
- South America is brimming with weird and wonderful animals - condors, pumas, guanacos, tapirs, hummingbirds, crab-eating foxes and giant blue morph butterflies. The famous Amazon rainforest is teeming with brightly coloured birds and has more kinds of monkeys than any other jungle in the world.
- John Burton, from the World Land Trust will be at the show, and giving a presentation on the Patagonia Project.

To create an atmosphere of Latin America and the Alternative Caribbean there will be music, dance displays, cookery demonstrations and to celebrate the Day of the Dead there will even be a special Day of the Dead Altar!
