How You Can Help Save Wildlife and Habitats
For Christmas 2000

There are FOUR ways that you can help NOW.

• BUY GIFT ACRES FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS. As Christmas looms, a reminder that WLT 'Gift Acres' are the perfect gift for family and friends. By saving REAL ACRES IN REAL PLACES on behalf of loved ones you will be buying them a present that will last forever. We will send a special Gift Certificate and WLT Chrismas card and ensure that your gift recipients receive news updates throughout the New Year.

• MAKE REGULAR DONATIONS. Although we are not a membership organisation we are extremely grateful to supporters who make regular donations -either on a monthly or an annual basis. Remember you can always e-mail, fax or post us your donation using your credit card, and we will acknowledge receipt immediately. (See our Direct Credit Form for direct credit mandates.)

• OPEN A WLT AFFINITY ACCOUNT. Another way that you can help is by putting some of your savings into the Stafford Railway Building Society. Interest rates are excellent so if you have savings in the UK you will be helping yourself, as well as the Trust, by opening a new WLT Affinity Account. Please contact the WLT office for details of this brand new initiative.

• Lastly, please put WLT on your Christmas list, and we promise to save more threatened wilderness areas and protect the wildlife that depend on them, on your behalf.

The World Land Trust seeks to conserve the World's tropical forests, as well as other biologically important habitats, which are threatened by destruction.

By helping to purchase land outright the Trust can save tropical forests and their wildlife. And by initiating conservation projects for sustainable development, the living conditions of the local people can be improved, thus lessening the risks to other parts of the forest.
