Rainforests are being chopped down at a catastrophic rate, but you personally can save hundreds of trees for a relatively small donation to the World Land Trust. A donation to the WLT of £150 will save and protect nearly 1,500 big trees in real tropical forest in South America. That's less than 10p a tree!. And we will plant a tree for you in the UK for free. |

Saving big trees in South America

The project in Gloucestershire
The 48 acre site owned by WLT is adjacent to a National Trust reserve and includes ancient meadows and an area set aside as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The WLT will be planting a woodland of native species of trees on part of the land, and a tree will be planted on behalf of everyone who donates £150 or more to the WLT's South American Rainforest project.
